The Long Form:
From Martinsville through Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead there are 34 weekends with at least one official NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide or Crafsman Truck Series race. The Sanderson Ford FMFL follows the documented results of these races to let you compete for prizes as a result of skill in choosing the top drivers each and every weekend.
The Sanderson Ford FMFL lets you pick 7 (seven) drivers before each weekend's races and earn points according to actual race results. Players can enter or change their picks at anytime up until 9 AM MST (Arizona) on the day of each round or weekend's first race. On most weekends the first race is on a Friday, so most deadlines for picking starters are on Friday at 9:00 AM MST (Arizona). On weekends or rounds with the first race on Saturday, the deadline for picking starters is 9:00 AM MST (Arizona) on Saturday. In August there is a Truck race on Wednesday evening at Bristol, so the deadline for picking all six drivers will be 9:00 AM MST (Arizona) on Wednesday, August 20th.
Players must start at least one driver per race scheduled, and points are only awarded to drivers who finish 16th or better. After registering a driver for each scheduled event, players can register their extra drivers in any of the other scheduled series. For example:
• When there is only one race scheduled for a weekend, players will start 7 drivers in that race. • When there are two races scheduled, players must start a driver for each race before starting their additional five drivers, in any combination, for either of the two races. • When there are three races scheduled, players must start one driver per race before starting the four extra drivers.
Players will receive points according to the results of the drivers listed in their team’s pick starter’s screen as of each week’s registration deadline.
Scoring:
Player's 'starting' drivers will earn points only if they finish in the top 16 places for that race. Points are awarded for finishing position, qualifying, type of car, and leading a lap.
Finishing Points:
